Jules Mermelstein, the Green Party of Pennsylvania candidate for PA Superior Court, recently collected and turned in over 4300 signatures from statewide, and has qualified to be on the ballot this November. Congratulations to Jules and his team!
Now, Jules is switching to campaign mode, and is looking for volunteers to help campaign in the Allegheny County region. Duties include attending local events and talking to voters and handing out campaign materials (flyers, stickers, business cards, etc.) to raise awareness of Jules’s campaign as well as the Green Party in general. It is up to you how much time you can volunteer! Even attending a single event for an hour is a big help!
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Garret at <email@example.com>.
You can find out more about Jules Mermelstein at his campaign website, <http://jules4judge.com>, and follow him on Twitter (@Jules4Judge) or Facebook (@Mermelstein4Judge) for updates.
Four open seats on the court will be available, meaning you will be able to pick four different judges. Please make Jules one of your picks! (Jules is running against four Democratic and four Republican opponents for the four available seats).
Election day 2017 is Tuesday, November 7th. You must be registered to vote by October 10th, 2017, in order to participate! If you would like to register to vote or change your party affiliation, please see <https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/Pages/VoterRegistrationApplication.aspx>. The Green Party has achieved minor party status in PA, meaning it is now much easier to register as a Green! Simply check the “Green” box on the form under Question 8. “Political party”.
