GPPA Quarterly Meeting This Saturday!

The Green Party of Pennsylvania will be holding their Quarterly meeting in Pittsburgh on this Saturday, November 18th, from 10am until about 4:30pm, with a pot luck social to follow!

There will be a “meet and greet” with local and state Green Party members. Come out and see what the Greens have been doing in Pennsylvania and locally. If you’ve been curious about getting involved with the Greens, this is a great jumping in point!

After the business of the day is over, at about 5pm, we will have a pot luck. Feel free to bring your favorite dish, or just come down and check out a party that puts the working class first!

All are welcome to attend the business portion of the meeting– however, only delegates can vote. The tentative agenda includes:

  • A committee fair, to learn about different activism and electoral politics groups within the Green Party and how to get involved
  • Discussion on 2018 elections, including the PA 18th special election
  • Discussion and votes on party business, including the 2018 budget and the 2018 state platform
  • Formation of new local/county Green parties, and nominations for state party positions
  • Pot luck and meet and greet!

You can RSVP for the meeting on our website, or through Facebook. We hope to see you there this Saturday!
